Pontefract man charged with stealing mixer drinks and 20kg of cornflakes

He's also facing drugs charges

A Pontefract man has been charged with drugs offences and with stealing 20kg of cornflakes from the back of a lorry in Featherstone.

This comes after a police raided homes in Pontefract and Darrington earlier last week

Officers seized crash and gold bars, as well as 176 boxes of mixer drinks and 20kg of boxed cornflakes.

It's believed the cereal and drinks had been taken from a lorry in Featherstone.

36 year old Shane Gray, of Adwick Terrace in Pontefract, is charged with:

  • Being concerned in the supply of a cocaine
  • Two counts of being concerned in the supply of cannabis
  • Possession with intent to supply cocaine
  • Production of crack cocaine
  • Being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine
  • Being concerned in the supply of ketamine
  • Possession of criminal property
  • Two counts of theft - for the cornflakes and mixer drinks.

Gray has been remanded in custody ahead of a court appearance later.
