Bomb disposal teams called in after First World War ammunition discovered in Morley
Police were called to Corporation Street earlier today
Bomb disposal teams have been called out in Morley after suspected World War One ammunition was discovered earlier today.
It was found during the clearout of a house on Corporation Street shortly before 10:15am this morning.
Emergency services put a cordon in place while awaiting the Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team.
The device was found to be inert at around 5:30pm and the cordon has now been lifted.
