A man's suffered life threatening injuries after a crash last night in Bradford.
Officers were called to a collision between a Toyota and BMW at around 11:30pm on Wakefield Road.
A 51 year old man is critical in hospital two other men suffered less serious injuries.
West Yorkshire Police said:
"Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Bradford last night in which a man received life threatening injuries.
"At 11:36pm yesterday, police were called to a road traffic collision involving a silver Toyota Auris and a grey BMW 320D in Wakefield Road, Bradford, between the junctions of Fenby Avenue and Sheridan Street.
"Both vehicles had been travelling in the direction of Bradford city centre from the direction of Dudley Hill at the time of the collision.
"A passenger from the Toyota, a 51-year-old man, remains in a critical condition in hospital. The driver of the Toyota, a 56-year-old man, and a further passenger, an 18-year-old man, are receiving treatment for injuries that are not considered life threatening.
"The occupants of the BMW, four men aged 18, 19, 20 and 20, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving in relation to the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
