A man from Leeds has been arrested following an intelligence led operation by Counter Terrorism Policing North East and West Yorkshire Police on Wednesday.
Martyn Paul Gilleard from Town Street in Armley is now charged with possessing information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
The 48 year old will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court today (Friday, May 30).
A property in Leeds was searched in connection with this investigation.
