Man injured after serious collision in Bradford

An investigation is underway after a serious collision in Bradford.

Police say they were called to Leeds Road where a car hit a pedestrian.

A Police statement said:

"Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in Bradford.

"Officers were called at 10.26pm on 14th March to Leeds Road at the junction of Killinghall Road to reports a Mitsubishi Shogun had been in collision with a pedestrian.

"The pedestrian a man aged 35, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"The vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

"Two men aged 45 and 39 were arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. They’ve both been bailed pending further enquiries."
