Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Bradford

Detectives investigating the shooting of a man in Bradford have arrested man on suspicion of attempted murder.
The 35-year-old man, from Bradford, was arrested in Ipswich on Saturday evening in connection with an incident where a 28-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the head in Gaythorne Road.
The victim remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Three other men, aged 21, 34 and 36, were arrested in Ipswich on Saturday evening on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have since been released on police bail.
A 27-year-old man, who was previously arrested in Ipswich on suspicion of assisting an offender, and a 25-year-old man, who was previously arrested in Bradford on suspicion of assisting an offender, have also since been released on police bail.
Detectives are still seeking 24-year-old Luqman Khan, from Bradford, in connection with the investigation and are continuing to appeal for any information on his current whereabouts.
Khan is believed to have travelled to Suffolk and was thought to be in the Ipswich or Felixstowe areas.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Dan Bates said:
“The victim remains in hospital in a critical condition with life threatening injuries and we are continuing to progress the investigation at pace, as these latest arrests illustrate.
“We are also continuing to carry out extensive enquiries to locate Luqman Khan and are keen to hear from anyone who has any information that could help us to locate him.
“We are also still keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the shooting or the circumstances around it, particularly anyone with any relevant dashcam, home CCTV or mobile phone footage that could assist the investigation.”
