Two men arrested in Greater Manchester over Leeds shooting
It comes after a man turned up to the LGI last week with gunshot wounds
Two men have been arrested in Greater Manchester in connection with a shooting in Leeds last week.
The investigation started after a 29-year-old man appeared at Leeds General Infirmary last Tuesday with gunshot wounds.
The arrests took place during a joint operation between West Yorkshire Police and Greater Manchester Police in Leigh, on Monday.
The suspects, aged 24 and 47, are from the Leeds area and are suspected of attempted murder.
They are being transferred to custody in West Yorkshire for further questioning.
The victim of the shooting is in a stable condition.
