Man taken to hospital after robbery at Leeds jewellers

A man has been taken to hospital after a robbery earlier today at a jewellers in north Leeds.

Police were called at 1:19pm to Saleem Jewellers in Roundhay Road, Harehills, after reports of several suspects entering the building.

It's not yet known if anything was taken before the group left in a vehicle.

One man suffered facial injuries and is being treated by medics.

A police cordon remains at the scene.
