Police in Leeds are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Leeds which left an 18 year old man seriously injured.

The collision involved a grey Seat Leon, which crashed into a boulder before coming to a halt on the entry slip to the Leeds Inner Ring Road at 9.43pm last night (February 23).

An 18-year-old passenger from the vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Investigations suggest the Seat Leon was travelling with a black Citroen C1 and a black Vauxhall Corsa.

Motorists who were in the area at the time are urged to check dashcam footage and contact police if they saw any of the vehicles.

Three men, two aged 18 and one aged 19, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and are currently in custody.
