Mexborough man held at HMP Leeds charged with terrorism offences

The 26 year old is due before a court in London tomorrow

A man currently being held at HMP Leeds has been charged with two terrorism offences.

26 year old Jack Coulson, formerly of Mexborough in South Yorkshire, is accused of with two counts of possession of a document likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to the Terrorism Act 2000.

He will be before Westminster Magistrates Court on Friday (February 27).

He was arrested last year as part of an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing North East and was subsequently recalled to prison.
