Another man due in court charged in connection with Harehills rioting

A man is due before Magistrates tomorrow charged in connection with the rioting last summer in Harehills.

Gherorghita Panainte, 33, of Strathmore Street, will be before a court in Leeds accused of a single count of arson following the disorder last July.

So far, 83 people have been arrested, with 41 charged.

Police continue to use CCTV and facial recognition technology to trace those responsible.
