Appeal for witnesses after Halifax town centre assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Halifax town centre that left a man injured.

It happened shortly after 6am on Sunday (February 1) - two men who allegedly attacked the victim outside a bar on Silver Street.

The man suffered injuries to his face and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Officers are combing CCTV and now urge anyone who was in the vicinity of Cow Green, Corn Market, and Bar Rouge on Silver Street between 5am and 6am to come forward.
