Fire causing travel delays in Harehills

Some road closures in Leeds this morning with a building on fire in Harehills.

Emergency services are at the scene on Roundhay Road with some diversions in place.

We are being urged to avoid the area if possible.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say: "Firefighters are currently dealing with a building fire on Roundhay Road, Leeds.

"Please avoid the area where possible while crews work at the scene. There are a number of emergency vehicles in attendance and traffic disruption is likely.

"Thank you for your patience and cooperation."
