Two treated for smoke inhalation after Featherstone house fire
Crews were called to Fearnley Street this morning
Two people have been treated in hospital after inhaling smoke during a fire in Featherstone early this morning.
Fire crews were called to Fearnley Street in Featherstone at 7:49am this morning (July 10) after smoke was seen coming out of a home.
The blaze is believed to have been started by cooking inside the home, with two hoses being used to put it out and a fan being used to clear the smoke.
The two casualties were rescued from inside the home.
