Family pay tribute after man dies in Leeds after being hit by a taxi

The family of a man who died after being hit by a Taxi in Leeds are paying tribute to him.
73 year old Graham Jordan (from Brough) was involved in a collision earlier this month - but passed away on Monday.
West Yorkshire Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
A Police Statement said: "Police investigating a serious collision in Leeds city centre earlier this month have confirmed that the pedestrian victim has sadly died.
"Graham Jordan, aged 73, of Brough, in Humberside, died on Monday (27 July) following the collision which took place on the night of Friday, 10 July.
"Mr Jordan's family have paid tribute to him as officers renew their appeal for witnesses to the collision.
"They described him as a much-loved husband, father and grandfather.
"He was an active man who enjoyed keeping busy and spending time with his family. An avid Leeds United supporter, he followed the club with great interest and rarely missed a match.
"He will be remembered by those who knew him and missed by his family and friends.
"The collision, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, happened at 11:35pm on Friday, 10 July on King Street at the junction with York Place.
"A black Ford Tourneo taxi which was travelling along York Place and turned onto King Street.
"Mr Jordan was taken to hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
"The taxi's driver was arrested at the scene and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
"Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the taxi the moments before the collision to contact them.
"A number of people were reportedly outside the the nearby Metropole Hotel on King Street at the time of the collision and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been there who witnessed the collision."
