Driver arrested after two car collision in Drighlington
A driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after three people were hurt in the collision on Sunday night.
An investigation has begun and an appeal for witnesses has been put out by West Yokshire Police looking into a serious road traffic collision on the A650 in Drighlington near Leeds.
Officers were called at 9.30pm on Sunday 12 April to reports of a two vehicle collision involving a white BMW and grey Seat Ibiza.
The occupants of BMW the driver a man aged 46, and a woman aged 41, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving over the prescribed limit and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He is now in police custody.
The driver of the Seat a man aged 26, was taken to hospital with serious but not believed to be life threatening injuries.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the vehicles prior to the collision to come forward. Dashcam footage is also wanted.
