Woman remanded in custody following Devizes murder
Murder charge follows death of a woman in Keepers Road
A woman has been remanded in custody after being charged with murder following the death of another woman on Christmas Day in Devizes.
Stefania Glowka, 63, of Keepers Road, appeared at Bristol Crown Court on 31st December after being charged in connection with the case.
She did not attend the hearing but remains in custody ahead of further court proceedings.
Glowka is scheduled to appear next for a pre trial preparation hearing at Bristol Crown Court on 20th March 2026, with a provisional trial date set for 1st June 2026.
Formal identification of the victim is yet to take place, and a definitive cause of death has not been established.
A preliminary postmortem is complete but further information is required.
