Stockton man charged with terror offences

A 21-year-old man has been charged with possessing and transmitting terror documents.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with possessing and transmitting terror documents, police have said.

Joshua Jones, from Buttercup Close, Stockton, Teesside, will appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

The charges follow an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing North East, the force said.

He is charged with four counts of possessing a document likely to be useful in committing or preparing an act of terrorism and one count of transmitting two terrorist publications.

The force stated that Jones’ ethnicity was white British.
