Police appeal after woman attacked in Stockton
She suffered injuries to her face and head

A woman has suffered injuries to her head and face after being attacked in Stockton.
The 53-year-old was assaulted on Hartington Road, near to the Red Pepper Pizza shop at 11pm on Thursday (8 January).
She was walking towards Yarm Lane when two girls attacked her.
Police are appealing for anyone in the area at the time, who may have witnessed the assault, or who may have information, to contact them.
