Man injured in Middlesbrough street fight involving weapons
Police are appealing for information after a 29-year-old man was left needing surgery
A 29-year-old man has been seriously injured in a fight involving bladed weapons in Middlesbrough.
Cleveland Police officers were called to Collison Avenue at 2.30pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 24th February 2025) to reports of three men fighting in the street.
When police arrived, the injured man was found with a serious wound to his arm and a cut to his ankle.
He was subsequently taken to James Cook University Hospital to undergo surgery.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information or footage related to the incident to call 101, quoting reference SE26035416.
