Man injured after assault in Redcar

A serious assault outside the Deck nightclub in Redcar is being investigated by police.

The incident happened at around 4.10am on Saturday when it was reported that a man was hit with a glass bottle by another man before two others also began assaulting the victim.

The victim did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.

This suspect is described as a white male aged in his early to mid-20s. He was wearing a grey puffer jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and was believed to be wearing a green jumper prior to this.

The two others who got involved in the assault are described as white males of a similar age to the first suspect, while a fourth person driving a grey Audi A1 is believed to have drove the suspects away from the scene.
