New play area at Middlesbrough autism support charity 'will change lives'
It's being installed at MAIN based in North Ormesby
An autism support charity in Middlesbrough says a new play area is going to change the lives of the children and adults they help.
The funding's come from Splash Projects and CBRE UK.
Heather Whyman, chief executive of MAIN, said: "It's outstanding. The work that's going to be done, the new play area, forts, tunnels, bridges, it's just going to make such a difference to our children.
"MAIN supports children who are autistic, neurodiverse, have learning disabilities and complex needs. This is going to change their lives in such a good way.
"I can't wait to play, be involved, have a go myself and just be a part of it."
