Hartlepool dad continues fight for answers to missing daughter's case
Two year-old Katrice Lee disappeared in 1981
The Hartlepool dad of a missing toddler is continuing his fight for answers over what happened to his daughter.
Two year-old Katrice Lee disappeared from a supermarket in Paderborn in Germany in 1981.
Her family has always thought the Royal Military Police - now called the Serious Crimes Unit - failed their case.
They've spoken on a new podcast and hears from an ex-officer who, in effect, says enough was not done.
Richard said: "It's what I already knew but it does add to my request for an independent inquiry. I now have the proof but again we already knew. My opinion's of the RMP have never changed but there is an re-organisation taking place. They're now the Serious Crimes Unit but it's my belief a leopard can't change its spots.
"They failed my daughter's case in 1981 at every level and the correct protocol was never followed from day one."
