Family pays tribute to 50-year-old who died after Hartlepool incident
Steven Streeting passed away from injuries suffered on Church Street
The family of Steven Streeting, who died following an incident on Church Street in Hartlepool, has paid tribute to him, describing him as "much-loved."
Mr Streeting, 50, suffered a serious head injury during the incident and died in hospital on Tuesday, 26th May.
In a heartfelt statement, his family said: “Steven was a much-loved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, but above all else, a devoted husband and loving father. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who knew and loved him."
They expressed their gratitude for the support they are receiving from specially trained officers from Cleveland Police during this difficult time and requested privacy as they grieve.
Meanwhile, a 32-year-old man faced Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 27th May, charged with murder and attempted grievous bodily harm.
He has been remanded in custody pending his next court appearance.
