Cordon in place as police appeal for witnesses to an assault in Normanby
A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital following the attack

Cleveland Police say a cordon is in place in Normanby following an assault this morning (4th January).
Officers received a report that a man had suffered an injury from an attack believed to have taken place in the area of Clive Road/Windsor Road at around 7:15am.
The man, aged in his thirties, has been taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is at an early stage and there are cordons currently in place whilst enquiries continue.
Police would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have doorbell footage or CCTV footage in the area, to contact Redcar and Cleveland CID on 101, quoting reference number SE25001849.
