Two people arrested over Swindon shooting released with no further action
Two men have been charged with attempted murder following the incident in Gorse Hill in June
Two people arrested in connection with a shooting in Swindon have been released with no further action.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the incident in Gorse Hill on June 19.
A 16-year-old boy and a 33-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and possession with intent to supply nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed today (1 July) that they have now been released and no further action will be taken.
Two men have been charged with attempted murder and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
They have been remanded in custody and are expected to appear at Swindon Crown Court on July 24.
Four other people remain on bail pending further enquiries.
