A teenager has admitted stabbing a 16-year-old boy at a skatepark in Swindon.

He pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon at court today (15/01) and has been remanded into youth detention.

The teenager, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, was charged after an incident at a skatepark near the former Oasis Leisure Centre in Swindon yesterday (14/01).

A 16-year-old boy who was stabbed during the incident remains in hospital with serious injuries.

The 17-year-old is due to appear in court for sentencing on 27th February.
