Three arrested following fight outside Swindon pub

Police are appealing for witnesses of a disorder outside a Swindon pub, during which a man sustained serious injuries.

Officers were called to reports of a fight outside The Harvey pub, in Town Square, yesterday evening (26th February).

During the disorder- which broke out between 7.20pm and 7.50pm- a man was struck in the head with a metal pole.

A 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.

Two other women, both aged 20, have been arrested on suspicion of affray.

All three women remain in custody.
