Man in 60s injured in attack near County Ground
The victim's being treated in hospital
A man in his 60s was attacked by a group of males near the County Ground and Shrivenham Road in Swindon last night.
The assault occurred at approximately 8pm, resulting in the man sustaining head and arm injuries described as serious, though they are not considered life-changing or life-threatening.
The victim is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dash cam or doorbell footage capturing a group of Asian males in the area between 8pm and 9pm on the night of the attack to come forward.
