Motorcyclist fighting for his life in hospital after crash in Swindon

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after crashing on his motorbike on the A419 Dorcan slip road.

At around 4.40pm yesterday (12/07) , police responded to a single vehicle collision involving a Kawasaki motorbike on the slip road to Wheatstone Road and the Royal Mail facilities.

The rider, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with a serious head injury.

At around 8.30pm, the rider self-discharged from hospital, however was readmitted at around 3.40am this morning, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

Enquiries into the collision are ongoing.

Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam is asked to contact police.
