A town in Wiltshire has been named the best place to live in the South West.

Malmesbury has topped the annual Sunday Times Best Places to Live guide.

Judges praised its improving high street, a packed community calendar, and family-friendly feel.

The town’s famous carnival, top-rated schools, and links to the Dyson Creative Campus helped it beat seven other places.

Norwich was picked as the best place to live in the UK.
