Comic Con returns to Swindon’s STEAM Museum with stars and cosplay

Comic Con is set to make its return to the STEAM Museum in Swindon next month, bringing a star-studded lineup and an array of exciting activities for fans.

Scheduled for Saturday, 20th June, this year’s event, organised by Stars of Time, promises appearances by notable guest stars Warwick Davies, Brian Blessed, and Ben Whitehead.

Attendees can look forward to prop displays, photo opportunities, and virtual reality experiences, all while dressed as their favourite characters.

A free cosplay competition invites fans to showcase their costumes, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the occasion.

Comic Con-goers can engage in a lightsaber training experience and enjoy a tribute to Kermit the Frog.

A selection of independent traders will offer memorabilia from beloved films, TV shows, and video games, giving fans the chance to purchase unique items.

Frances Yeo, STEAM Museum Manager, expressed enthusiasm for the event's return.

She said: “We’re really excited to welcome the Stars of Time team back to STEAM for what is set to be another excellent Comic Con.”

Yeo emphasized the lively atmosphere and the joy stemming from attendees celebrating their passions.

Tickets are available for booking on the STEAM Museum website, priced at £17.50 for adults and £13 for children.
