Worthing man charged with multiple child sex offences
He is accused of communicating with three young girls through Instagram
A man from Worthing has been charged with 12 sexual offences involving three young girls.
28 year old Charlie Duffy of Bulkington Avenues, came to the attention of police in 2024 following a report he was communicating with two nine-year-old girls and a ten-year-old from Derbyshire and Leicestershire through Instagram.
He was arrested and subsequently charged with:
-Six counts of causing/inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity
-Three counts of causing a child under 13 to watch/look at an image of sexual activity '
-Three counts of making indecent images of children in categories A, B and C.
Duffy has been released on bail with strict conditions, to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 April.
