Three men charged over Worthing salon fire

Sussex Police charged the trio following a major arson investigation at Broadwater Street salon.

Three men have been charged following a fire at a salon in Worthing in October 2024, Sussex Police have confirmed.

Officers were called to Tantastic on Broadwater Street at around 11pm on 21 October 2024 after reports of a fire at the premises.

An investigation was launched by Worthing CID, resulting in charges being brought against three individuals.

Stuart Jenkins, 62, of Bridge Street, Wickham, Hampshire, Brandon Tipling, 20, of Brigstocke Road, Bristol, and Archie Ellins, 19, of Hillsley Road, Portsmouth, were each charged with conspiracy to commit arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.

They are due to appear before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 10 November to answer the charge.
