Three teenagers seriously injured during multi vehicle crash on A23
A woman in her 40s was also injured during the collision
Several people, including three teenagers, have been injured following a serious multi-vehicle crash on the A23 at Albourne.
Sussex Police say the collision happened on the northbound carriageway at around 10.15pm on Thursday (16 April) and involved two cars and a lorry.
Three individuals from a blue Ford Fiesta sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
These include the 17-year-old driver from East Grinstead and two passengers, both aged 19, from East Grinstead and Copthorne.
The driver of a Ford Puma, a 46-year-old woman from Horsham, was also injured in the collision.
The driver of the lorry, a 57-year-old man from Swindon, was not hurt.
The A23 northbound is closed between the B2117 at Hurstpierpoint and the B2118 at Sayers Common.
Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses or anyone with information regarding the collision,
