Witnesses sought after serious collision in Steyning

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a serious collision on Wednesday 26 August.
Emergency services were called to a report of a collision on the A283 Steyning Bypass, Steyning at around 5.55pm.
A Volkswagen ID3 was involved in a collision with a Kawasaki motorcycle at the junction with Canons Way.
The motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Officers are conducting an ongoing investigation to establish the full circumstances of the collision and encourage anyone who witnessed it, or who has any relevant information such as dashcam footage which could aid enquiries to come forward.
