Police investigate fire at barber's shop in Bexhill

A fire at a barber’s shop front door in Endwell Road, Bexhill is being investigated by police in Sussex.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended and put out the fire which started in the doorway of the shop.

Two people in the flat above the barbers escaped without injury and were checked over by paramedics.

Detective Inspector Mors Lambert said: "We are carrying out enquiries and are keen to hear from any witnesses or from anyone has any relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward. Please report online or phone 101 quoting serial 1581 of 17/04."
