A man has died after being pulled from the sea at Saltdean.
Emergency services were alerted at 6.50pm on Thursday (2 July) and responded to the scene.
Despite receiving treatment from paramedics, the man did not survive.
Sussex Police say his identity has not yet been formally confirmed.
Police are currently investigating to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
