Crimestoppers has increased the reward for information surrounding the disappearance and murder of Daniel and Liam Poole from West Sussex to £30,000.

The father and son vanished while on a trip to Spain on 31st March 2019, and despite investigative efforts, answers have remained elusive.

The pair left their hometown of Burgess Hill to visit Málaga, but their hired grey Peugeot 308 was abandoned, and their belongings, including their passports, were found in their hotel room in Estepona.

The situation was reclassified as a murder investigation by the authorities in 2022. Arrests have been made, including two men in December 2024, but efforts to fully resolve the case continue.

Independent charity Crimestoppers is promising anonymity to anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Annabelle Goodenough, Crimestoppers Sussex Regional Manager says any information could be vital:

"“Danny and Liam’s family have lived in uncertainty for almost seven years. They deserve to know what happened.

“The reward has been significantly increased to encourage anyone holding back to come forward. Even the smallest detail could make all the difference in finally bringing those responsible to justice. "

Lauryn Poole, daughter of Daniel and sister to Liam, expressed the family's yearning for answers:

“Not a day goes by when we don’t think about Danny and Liam. Living without answers has been agonising. We need to know the truth, for them and for our family’s peace of mind.

“If you know something, however small, please contact the charity Crimestoppers anonymously. Your information could be the key to finally giving us justice we’ve waited almost seven years for.”

To qualify for the reward, tips must be provided directly to Crimestoppers.
