A 45-year-old woman has been charged following a road traffic collision in Fleet earlier this week.

Police were called at 7.18pm on 8th December to Reading Road North, where a Mini was reported to have collided with a road sign and was blocking the road.

Officers attended the scene, conducted a roadside breath test, and arrested a woman.

During custody, it was alleged that she refused to provide a specimen for analysis and that a police vehicle had been damaged, with one officer reportedly assaulted.

Julie Harrison, of Sorrel Court, Fleet, has since been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis, criminal damage to property valued under £5,000, and assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty.

She has been released on bail and is expected to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 6th January 2026.
