Police appeal after man injured in knife attack

A man has been injured after a serious assault in Aldershot yesterday.

The incident occurred just after midday on Victoria Road, involving a man with a knife.

A man in his 40s had stab wounds to his head and arm outside of Cineworld, he was treated for his injuries on the scene.

A 45-year-old man from Aldershot was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm, and possession of a bladed article, he remains in custody.
