Appeal after man dies following fatal collision in Hindhead

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A3 in Hindhead last night (Tuesday 3 March).

Officers were called to reports of a collision between vehicles on the A3 Southbound carriageway, just before the Hindhead Tunnel, shortly before 6.30pm.

A man in his 20s died at the scene.

Five people were taken to hospital by paramedics. It included a woman in her thirties who sustained life-threatening injuries.

Four men in their twenties also sustained serious injuries.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Surrey Police in order to support their investigation.
