Five people arrested following alleged break-in on Staines houseboat

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on a houseboat moored on the Thames Path behind Big Yellow Self Storage in Staines.
Officers were called to the location shortly after 9.20am on Monday (3 November) amid reports of a potential break-in aboard the houseboat.
A total of five people were arrested in connection with the altercation:
A 38-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm and possession of class B drugs
A 37-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm and possession of a bladed article in a public place
A 29-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of common assault, criminal damage, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place
A 28-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of common assault, criminal damage, and possession with intent to supply class A drugs
A 26-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place
All five individuals have been bailed while investigations continue.
Police are asking for help from anyone who was in the area of the Thames Path between 9am and 9.20am on 3rd November.
