As part of policing operation for the game between Aldershot and Woking, a dispersal order is in place in Aldershot town centre between 9am today (5th April) and 9am tomorrow (Sunday 6th April).

The dispersal order means officers can instruct a person to leave the areas concerned, and not return within the specified time period.

It also gives officers the power to seize anything used in the commission of anti-social behaviour.

Those who refuse to comply are committing a criminal offence and could be arrested.

Chief Inspector Tracy Scrase, who is overseeing the policing operation for the match, said: "We hope we do not have to use any of these additional powers and that everyone attending the game today can enjoy themselves while behaving appropriately.

"However it is important that our officers who are out policing the city today can take action if they need to, in order to protect members of the public and local businesses.

"The safety of all attending the match is our main priority, and you will see our teams in and around the ground and town centre throughout the day.

"If you do have any questions, or see anything which concerns you, then please stop and speak with one of our officers."
