Pedestrian seriously injured in Sudbury hit-and-run
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
Police are calling for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a fail-to-stop collision in Sudbury.
The incident happened just after 12:50am on Saturday (18 October) on Newton Road.
A man in his 40s was found injured, believed to have been struck by a vehicle that did not stop at the scene.
Emergency services were called and the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, though these are not considered life-threatening.
Newton Road, between the A134 and A131 junctions, was closed while emergency services worked at the scene, but it reopened by 2.40am.
