Person rescued after forklift tips at Felixstowe Docks

A forklift truck tipped onto its front, trapping the driver inside the cab at Felixstowe Dock Service Area during the early hours of Wednesday (15 October).
Firefighters from Felixstowe and Ipswich East were called to the scene just after midnight, responding swiftly to reports of a person trapped following a road traffic collision.
Crews used an aerial ladder platform to safely reach and release the driver, who was carefully lifted from the cab in a basket stretcher and passed to waiting ambulance crews for treatment.
The incident was brought under control with no further casualties reported.
