Man charged after incident at Suffolk funfair

A man's due in court today charged over a stabbing at a funfair in Haverhill.

A 15 year old boy needed hospital treatment after he was found injured at the Recreation Ground on Friday, he was later discharged.

Sheldon Parrinello - who's 20 and from Sudbury - is facing four counts including assault by beating and possessing an offensive weapon.

Parrinello has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court later today.

A 22-year-old man from Haverhill – who was arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm - has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
