Motorcyclist hospitalised after crash in Lowestoft
A man has since been arrested
A 20-year-old man has been taken to hospital with potentially life changing injuries after a crash between a motorbike and a car in Lowestoft.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Sunday (28th September).
The driver of the car, a 37-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by careless driving.
A Suffolk police spokesperson said "Police were called by the ambulance service just after 5.30pm on Sunday 28 September to reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a car.
"The ambulance service, air ambulance and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Services were in attendance.
"The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment having sustained potentially life changing injuries.
"The driver of the car, a 37-year-old man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury through careless driving and was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was later released under investigation."
