Litter picker assaulted in Great Cornard

Victim was knocked unconscious by a blow to the head

A council litter picker's been knocked unconscious in an attack at Great Cornard.

It happened last Tuesday (13th January) near a block of garages at Raydon Way.

The suspect had initially said "good morning" to the worker, before swearing at him and then attacking him.

The assault left the victim on the floor and when he came to the suspect had gone.
