An Ipswich footballer who was jailed in connection with a drug smuggling offence has apologised to Scottish Championship side Morton.
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas - who also played for Aberdeen, Livingston and Arsenal - was sacked by the club after his arrest last year.
Following his early release from a four-year sentence, Emmanuel-Thomas has vowed to "right my wrongs" if the club forgive him for letting them down.
